Hi folks - recently put 5100s and OME 880s on the front of my '03 TRD and am getting a loud knock from front left when making turns, or even swerving a bit side to side to shift weight laterally. Otherwise suspension is working fine. I checked all the bolts for tightness and sprayed on some silicone lube, but that only seems to have made it worse. I'm thinking bad LCA or anti-sway link, any other ideas? Thanks

    OME and worth every penny.
ball joint more likely than a control arm. Mine were like new at 170K though so check the sway bar end link first.

See if the coil is contacting the uca. You will see where the paint is rubbed off

Had some helpers rock the truck side to side and was able to locate the noise to either the rear arm of the LCA where it connects to the frame or the axle...either way sounds expensive...anyone have experience with this?

Replaced bad sway bar end links - noise gone.

Nice when it's an easy fix! Glad you got it figured out.
