That wouldn't be so funny except the meet hasn't even happened yet. Talk about some serious hype. :p

I was waiting to post this until I had all the details to avoid a fiasco like the last time, but here's the scoop.

Sorry to say, but as of right now, the park's trails are going to be closed. They might be reopened if the weather gets better and they have a chance to dry out, but I wouldn't count on it. I'm waiting to here back from Steve if we can still camp there anyway which might be preferable if we want to avoid problems with public consumption.

Obviously the meet is still on, no matter what. It will just be a matter of where exactly it happens. I will update the first post as details change. Everything WILL be set in stone by noon tomorrow at which point I'll be calling everyone who PM'd me their phone numbers to verify the details.

so, since im pretty confused as to our new possible switch-a-roo plans to meet elsewhere, i just need to get some stuff clarified prior to the drive, or preparation for the meet so i dont get anything mixed up.

    1. i take it since the weather has been crappy up to this weekend, where do we plan on goin on any trails?
    2. if we are wheeling elsewhere, where is the new place we will be able to offroad?
    3. are we campin at one site & ridin at another?
    4. are we goin to have to pay to be at 2 different places for campin & for offroading?

Okay, Steve JUST got back to me (why I wanted to wait). We can still stay at BVORR. Since the trails are closed we don't have to pay the $10 entry fee. Just $5 per night/ person. So everything is still on as planned.

If we want to go wheel we can load up in the 4x4s on Saturday and take a short drive over to either General Sam's or the ATV park.

He hasn't signed on in about 2 months. Just thought it was kinda odd for a dude with almost 3000 posts who came to meets and stuff. I didn't know if some of y'all knew him or anything.

There is an outside possibility that we can wheel on Saturday, but that really depends on what the weather does. It doesn't look too promising.
