Haha no I don't make him tug me around! He loves the snow so anytime he gets to play in it he sprawls out and shoves his head into the powder.

It was a good weekend for the dog. Snow, leftovers, and table scraps galore.

    Thanks guys.

The little sac or growth she's had for a while got really swollen and painful for her today. She wouldn't hardly walk on that leg and has been shaking like crazy. They're giving us antibiotics and anti inflammatory then if the swelling goes down in a day or 2, go get the thing removed, and if it has turned cancerous, see if it has spread.

I recently acquired a new puppy. I was on facebook on a pets page and saw a chihuahua free to a good home. I figured I would go look at it for my mom. I called the lady on a Friday night and said I could go look at him Saturday morning around 9am after I left work. Well a lot of people decided to not shop up to work, so I sent her a text at 2 am saying I would be stuck at work until 330/4 and that maybe I could meet up with her Sunday morning. Well I get in the car at 345 and start to drive home when the phone rings. The lady says if I don't get the puppy now, that she is going to shoot it. So, I drive to her house and take him no questions asked. I take him to my home and give him a bath before heading to my moms. When I get there she informs me that the puppy is a dachshund. She calls the lady who confirms he is a dachshund/chihuahua, but clearly looks like a little weiner dog. My mom also says she doesn't want him. Three weeks later I can't find myself getting rid of the little guy.

I would love to upload a picture, but I don't have a URL for my picture.

That is awesome! I have an older one right now. Oscar is going to be 13 next July. He is really stubborn. He was staying with me for a while, but the adjustment was too hard for him. When he lived with me he would be really protective of me and my recliner. He would bite people and constantly barked. When he is at my mom's he is a completely different dog. So, I have had a hard time without him. This puppy isn't replacing Oscar, but it helps me cope without him.

Poor girl seems worse today. She's losing a ton of hair, too. She's an outside dog, but we brought her in this morning to try to get her to rest. Another appointment at 2 today

    Derick,

I too wish the best for Dixie. As long as she's by your side, she knows that you are exuding the same love for her as she has for you. Be comforted in knowing that she is always there for you as you will be for her.

I know how you you are feeling, as I have lost 3 of my best friends in the last 18 months. My Flash, Levi and Courage are there for you and Dixie and will be there with plenty of bones and tennis balls when she's ready to cross that Rainbow Bridge.

Me and my boys are saying prayers for you and Dixie through this difficult time.

Here's a big hug from my boys and me to you and your girl.

Eric, Axel, Kip, Marlin and Remington
