Have you guys used any of the non-Apple 30 pin adapters with good results? My phone should be shipping Friday and all of my stuff is the old charging/syncing ports. I have to buy a couple so $25 per won't do.

 

We weren't originally going to get 6's...but when you get some $ for Christmas - why not?

The hubby went out yesterday and picked up two iphone 6's.

I wanted an Otterbox Commuter case but I've been seeing bad reviews that they don't fit right.

We have Apple pay setup with our primary credit card - Has anyone been using that? Are there many retailers actually setup to use it?

I bought one for my Son's iPhone 6 for Christmas (we bought the phone in October). He managed to break the screen before we could give him the case (about a week before Christmas). He took it into the Apple store and they charged him $100 to replace the screen (we didn't get Applecare). They replaced the screen but the sound didn't work so they just gave him a new one.

Now he's got the lifeproof case on it. He said it seems pretty responsive even with the screen guard on.

 

If I ever buy an iPhone, I'll have to break the screen. It's like a right of passage or something. I haven't met a single iPhone owner who hasn't.

 

I have never broken a screen in 5 years and 3 iphones...

This is awesome. I've never liked the plastic/vinyl/etc. screen protectors. They cloud soon after install and feel like plastic.

I'm on my 8th iPhone, never have broken a screen. Although I did do iPhone repairs for people that did all the time. Repeat customers got a discount

 

I've never broken mine either. Mine are almost always in a case. Been ran over. Dropped on asphalt, concrete, gravel, rocks.
