    Yeah and a chronic case of too fucking lazy. I also have a bunch of lights to weld tabs on for, a diff cover to design and a CO2 bottle that needs mounted...cab mount is low on that list especially since it is cosmetic and passed inspection as is ;)

    Scored a kenwood DNX6980 for Christmas. Anyone know of a reliable audio stores with decent prices for installation around VA beach? May have to find a day to tackle the project but me + wires...not a good combo.

    If this is for your Tacoma and it does not have the JBL factory stereo -- $10 from Crutchfeild will get you an adaptor, wire it into the new radio harness and it'll plug right into the stock harness on the truck side.
    You'd just have to figure out an extra wires the new radio might have...
    BTW - that Kenwood is sweet!

    There was a company a few years ago that was making the adaptor for radio and vehicle specific...basically if u had a pioneer and a tacoma they would sell u the harness ready to plug in...no wiring involved at all...circuit city carried them
