It's not a hilux, the photo they released says TACOMA on the tailgate.

Hey pearlshark... all vehicles change sizes with new generations and updates. Look at cars from the 50s, they're the size of fukin houses. Cars in the 80s were slimmed. Now in the 2010s they're huge again. It's just like everything in life... fucking fads and marketing research bullshit. Giant pants, slim pants, big hair, short hair...It's life, get over it.. buy a used Ranger.

HAVING SAID THAT. The T100 was the perfect size and now the Tacoma is the perfect size. I'd actually prefer a long bed to my current short bed.

Tundras started out as oversized Tacomas. What's your point?

Well, clearly from this thread, I'm merely stating my opinion. Whether I have a point or not is irrelevant. Take your hate else where.

A bulky front end has no function, it doesn't help cooling the engine or transmission, there is no function to it. As long as the truck has topnotch ground clearance what does it matter if the truck has an "aggressive" look to it or not?

What the 2016 needs is not aggressive looks, but aggressive HP and torque. And clean up the vibes. Make it like a 2005 Tundra with AC and heat feeding into the rear seats, power rear slider, locking glovebox/tailgate, courtesy lights, cargo lamp, real seats in the Access Cab, hoodstruts, quieter cabin.

That's asking Toyota too much there and making too much sense for a company that large.

I agree. The T100 was the "perfect size". Sold my 97 T100 a few months ago, but regretted it shortly after. My hope is that the 2016 Tacoma is the same size as the old T100, plus as reliable!!

I was just looking at the windows and windshield, those both looked taller to me and that was a major problem I had with the gen2 Tacoma, the short windows and windshield.

Just messing man, just funny to see everyone getting bent out of shape because of a few spy shots haha.
I'm anxiously waiting and holding my tongue until then. But those two teases of the grill and tailgate I like ;)

Go buy an avalanche if you want a truck that looks like a SUV, not aggressive looking at all, and it has a v8 for your "aggressive power".
