    Jim he got the ticket for failure to yield to right of way. Spruce both insurance companies figured best thing was for me to claim it on mine. I will pay the 500 deductible and they are cutting me a check then paying GEICO 9550. As I understand it. I've been doing a lot of reading on the diminished value and found something here maybe you can go for it still. Again I'm not sure on it but was told by my policy a friends brother told us about it that works for state farm and a few sites

    I agree but its not making my premium go up so I don't give a crap who covers it lol. The wreck was in front of enterprise where we went today and he said it was loud he came out to see what had happened.

    I went round & round with mine over
    A small 1500. $ claim . My Ins fixed mine then went after him for everything even my out of pocket 500.. I was lucky as the trucking Co. was pulling paper from one truck to the one that I had a claim on.. Not good when My Ins found out what they were up to ..One letter of pay this or see us in court.Worked out great . We got 100% + our 500 back.

    Are you sure your premium will not go up? I shop for new insurance annually and they all ask "have you claimed anything in the past 5 years". Hell, the stupid windshield replacement I did a few years ago from a rock chip still shows up and they estimate I have paid 80-120 for that over time because of a "slight adjustment".

    I'd be very skeptical someone telling you your premiums will not go up. As for the diminished value, I am dealing with that right now with my girlfriends car. Someone rear ended her in July, ended up having to put it on a frame straightener, etc. Total bill $8800. The other drivers insurance wants me to take her car to get an estimate on trade, both with the damage, and without then get back to them. I have been told they will take that difference and give you a small percentage of that (roughly 30%).

    I asked if this will effect a few different times and they said no his insurance said since my truck is so new they are covering the 500 deductible and the 9500. Then going after him for the rest. I don't plan on changing for full coverage on my 13 taco and the 14 runner with towing, rental, all the pip and uninsured motorist, and so they can't go after me if my insurance don't cover it we pay 220 a month

    Ended mine in er for 5 stitches. Small hatchet glances of a branch I'm holding about a foot away and it nailed my hand. Tried for 3 hrs to get the bleeding to stop.

    Yeah way to end it right. My fault and wife was weirded out that I wanted to watch the cleaning and him sewing me up. Was done in a hour so I was happy. Had some friends holding the party down so it all was a good night still
