Doesnt cowitness properly as the led emitter is at 6 oclock and blocks the front sight post. Apparently the new PA advanced micro cowitnesses perfectly

So what does that mean with the MD-06? Its unusable? I should get the new PA RDS if I plan to dump $160 on the MI handguard? I thought the MD-06 was at the 4:30??? If its lower 1/3 co witness that's even better because more sight picture. Most people like absolute but I don't want to have to look through the rear sight to red dot to front sight post. I want to use just the red dot 1/3 co witness because that's how my AR and Tavor is setup as 1/3 co witness = mroe sight picture.

Yes 4:30 but still blocks the front sight. I emailed PA about it since i bought it as a package deal with the MI handguard and they said they never claimed it cowitnessed. If i were you I'd get the ultimak handguard for your md06 or the advanced micro for the MI handguard

Do you know if its more like lower 1/3 co witness? I rather have lower 1/3 for more sight picture/view. Thanks.

Dang this is good to know. The Advance Micro is another $170 on top of the $160 MI handguard. I wonder how the MI Mini Dot Mount that replaces the rear sight works???

Take that Critical Defense back. It doesnt expand on impact with flesh apparently. This was tested and confirmed yesterday by one of our members on himself.

I'm hesitant to draw conclusions from the performance of one round not to mention the round has vastly different energy and velocity properties compared to what I bought (.357 mag). Not to mention even the FBI in a recent report says that expanding bullets only expand 60-70% of the time at best.

I wish someone would do tests with a sample size of 30 rounds into bare calibrated gel and then 30 rounds into temperature controlled and calibrated gel with a denim or leather barrier layer to then run a statistical analysis on.

Honestly I'd be pretty confident in a properly placed round of .357 even if it didn't expand, lol.

Congrats! I love my GP100, but mine's just the standard 4" model, not the range champ. :pout:
