    Just what he said!

When mine came in the dealer was going to keep it for a few days in their showroom....called me the next day to come and get it as it was causing him so much grief....said he was getting tired of having to tell people that it was sold, and No, he doubted that he could get them one. Many of the ones I saw when I was looking had piles of dealer added extras piled on them (Tube steps, roof racks, bug shields etc) and also had 2-5k markup on top of it all. Some pushing 50k+. All of them got sold in a very short time. I was lucky in that my local dealer didn't add any crap to it and sold it to me for about $850 below msrp.

Lol, I'd buy a fucking Cummins any day of the week before I'd drop 40k on a damn Tacoma.

I'll take my elocker, atrac, and a much better master cylinder / braking system vs one extra foot of bed space :p

But I sure as shit wouldn't pay 16-17 k more out the door for the same truck... With a couple earrings on it. Hell does the TRD pro even have the auto dimming mirror with backup camera compass and temp in it?

That dealer mark up is the reason I don't live in my home state of California currently. It's just the usual unnecessary increase in cost for the price of living in the over populated state of California. But that truck is a gorgeous none the less. People will buy these a any price. Toyota is laughing all the way to the bank with these TRD Pros.

Nah....no back-up camera in the mirror...guess they figured they didn't need it with the one connected to the big screen on the Head Unit.

    No significant mods....yet
I guess I never realized what a hot commodity the TRD Pros were. Just wait and see the markup values Yota will have for special edition 3rd gens when they're out

Come on bro, you honestly believe that you can compare a TRD PRO and your TRD OR. I get the PRO is crazy $, but to say you truck is even in the same ballpark is off the mark.

10k? Who pays even 36k for a Tacoma?
I doubt I'll ever buy a compact truck new, makes to much sense to buy a full size and get a more refined more capable vehicle.

I bought my '13 for $29k with 26200 on the clock Certified. Factory sticker in glove box said $34,xxx.xx. No way in hell I 'd pay that kind of money for a Tacoma. Imagine what you could build for that extra $.

My dad's 5.7 Hemi had around the same sticker price as a Tacoma. But show me a Tacoma with as much room, power and comfort as the Ram. I can guarantee you that truck rides smoother than any Tacoma ever dreamed of.
