Ok here is my next issue with my 09 tacoma reg cab auto, after having to take it in for numerous problems. NOW the truck is vibrating quite a bit when downshifting. It seems like it might be vibrating on the 3rd gear downshift. The truck is an automatic and it does not vibrate like this all the time. Lately, it's just been doing it when the engine is cold or when I start the truck and drive and then come to my first stop. Any idea what this could be??? I hope it's not a tranny problem.
    Thanks!
    David

I had this problem when I first got the taco too..now it has 20K miles on it, and the vibration has disappeared.

I'm pretty sure many other people were having the same problem. Do a search, and see what you come up with :)

Mine does it rarely, always when the engine is cold only in the morning when coming to my first stop going downhill, if I shift to neutral or let off the brakes then push them again to stop, it stops the vibration.

what other problems have you had? just wondering.

Mine will do it one time in the morning when the drivetrain is cold. After one stop (slow down) it's gone though.
