    Yeah this is true.

So a new clock spring is $281. I'm gonna have to replace mine because I'm worried that my clock spring is damaged, and I definitely want my airbag to deploy if I get into an accident

Alex, what makes you think your clock spring is bad? Oh and BTW we sell them with the whole steering column for way less than that.

    FTFY.

    Morning All!
Happy pseudo-hump day! Tomorrow's the first Friday of the week for me. Anybody got big New Year's Eve plans? Any idiots going to Boston or NY?

My family x-mas party is tomorrow evening, but then a few of my cousins want to go out for New Year festivities. I'm somewhat suspicious that they haven't specifically told the GF and I where they want to go, though. Last time they did that I ended up in Kingfield and had a 2-hour ride home after the bar closed at 1.

We're staying in for New Years and having a New Year's Day party - brunch. We did enough traveling this week!

Yeah we usually stay in, so many things can go wrong on a night like that. I usually stay up and watch TV and Rachel is usually asleep well before midnight. LOL

Even in my younger and stupider years I dreaded going out anywhere on NYE. I hate it more now even as the sober driver. No clue what my night holds yet..

The guard dogs. Four of them are 85-95% tread, and the fifth is brand new

Good luck with that. No experience with them personally, but I know a couple of people that have run them very briefly before they bought something else.

Bill- I still haven't been able to find that damn bottle opener we were talking about a while back. I've looked for it a few times but haven't found any sign of it. I'll keep an eye out still, but don't hold your breath I guess. It appears to have grown legs and wandered off (code for 'my girlfriend probably decided to reorganize the closet and now nothing can be found again ever')
    :notsure:

Edit: Pulled my 'winter' vest out of the closet this morning because it was a little chilly at the house this morning (3 degrees!) and discovered that I'm rich!

Also, I posted this same picture on my Facebook this morning, and two hours later it's got four comments and seven likes and they're all from women. I am amused by that.

Good luck with that all around, 1st clearing 35s, second with retreads. There have been quite a few threads about them failing violently and nightmare stories dealing with their customer service. I wouldn't put them on my vehicle unless it was a dedicated trail rig and wouldn't go over 20 mph.

The Treadwrights must be why he's looking into replacing his airbag clockspring. ;)

Chinese takeout and a movie at home tonight. Sounds like a good New Years eve to me. :) Hey Alex do you want some Chinese food?
