    Sounds simple enough. It's going into my 4Runner and it has a JBL system in it so I'm guessing I won't need that adapter. I do need a gps adapter. Gonna swing by best buy and see if they have one. Think I'm just gonna rip my dash apart and tinker around and see what happens. All else fails, I'll take Matt up on that offer haha. I am slowly picking up parts for my lift and I'll definitely need a hand with that. So far I've got Billy 5100's for all four corners, picking up panthertacos 885's this weekend, looking for rear springs then I should be set. Was looking at the toytec superflexes but waiting to find a deal. How firm do you think the ride will be with 885's with no plate bumper? Got a one year old kid and don't wanna hear the wife complaining about the ride quality.

    I need some help. My pass side brake light does not work. The other lights on that side do work. I swapped the drivers side and pass side taillight assembly's. The pass side works on the drivers side, the drivers side does not work on the pass side. The wires look OK and the plug seems to be OK. It's weird that only the pass side brake light doesn't work.The leds come on when the lights are turned on but don't get brighter when the brake pedal is pushed. Anyone have any ideas?

    look at the sockets on the plug. Get some connection grease in there. Lastly, check the ground wire. That was my issue at Stevens last year.

    Put a voltmeter on the wires. You should have 12v on one with brake on, 12v on another with parking lights on. 12v on another with reverse. The last wire is ground. If you need more help, I'm in ptown home all day.

    Thank everybody for the help. I found the problem. I used an ohm meter between the drivers side and pass side connectors, all were good except the the brake light wire. So I knew the problem had to be between the two connectors. I traced the wire back from the pass side and found a break in the wire. It was where toyota for some reason cut the wire loom, left a 2" gap then ran the wire loom all the way to the connector. In the 2" gap they taped it up with white vinyl tape, this was put in a plastic wire holder and taped to another cable. The vibration and movement in this wire holder cut through the tape then the brake light wire, the insulation was cut on 3 other wires. I fixed it and everything works now. I recommend everyone checking they're wires to head off any problems.
