I have 9.5" wide wheels with 4 inch backspacing with 33x12.50s on 17's.. i also have 2.5" leveling kit.. no problems scrubbing or rubbing.. For some reason the tires arent even 6 months old and the rear tires are already missing more than half the tread life.. hahaha

How far do they stick out from the fenders?

I have fender flares and they stick out about 3/4 of an inch... without the flares its about 2.5 inches

I am running a 33x12.5x15 with 8 inches of wheel and 3.5" of backspacing. When I was running a 10" whel they stuck out about 2.5"'s or more.

You should run 10" wide rims on 8.5" wide tires, then go hit a pothole on the freeway mmkay, thanks.
