    Got offered an all-pro high clearance front IFS skid for $50 plus my stock skid and swaybar. Am I okay to take the swaybar off on stock suspension?

    I haven't done this but I'm gonna say yes. You will get more body roll but it can't be worse then mine and after getting used to it, I feel just as safe as when it was on. Just take it off. It's super easy anyway

    I passed on it. Someone said that if I was in an accident and the insurance found out I didn't have a swaybar on they wouldn't cover it. I don't know if this is true but it scared me off enough

    I've heard stuff like that but I've never had an insurance company decline payout...probably because they are going to get more money from the person-at-fault's insurance.

    So it turns out that that sound coming from under the hood is the "idler pulley on the serpentine belt" according to my mechanic... There goes all of my christmas money :(

    just change all three of them out. super easy. parts will probably cost you about 100-120 bucks... I don't remember. do the work yourself.
