Seriously, i am ashamed to honk my horn. my tacoma's stock horn sounds like it should be on a Prius. a "Blue Pruis" as jeff dunham would say...

anyway, does any know where a good, cheap replacement horn is? one that atleast sounds worthy to be on such a great Truck?

    tisk tisk...

I have one. Blow 150psi through it. MUCH better than stock :D

Actually I think in going to relay a second train horn in. California drivers still just ignore the one sometimes (Im at 135db). Although you do see most physically jump. Its just the ones on the freeway that dont give a crap.

Pretty sure this is a video of the horn I have http://www.youtube.com/v/_doglitS7-k&hl=en&fs=1&

The On Board air is the expensive part assuming you get a decent compressor. I got one from Sun Performance when they offered that Group Buy on CT. Wasnt cheap but its a 100% duty cycle at 200psi. Obviously I didnt buy it just for my horns though.

I went to Harbor Freight Tools and they sell air horns. I got one set and they werent much louder than the stock, so I got a few sets. I have three pumps mounted above the passenger side fenderwell under the hood and have the horns mounted behind the lover valence. If you look hard enough you can see the 6 red horns faceing down. I have a small button wired to the dash just under the sttering wheel. So i have the stock horn as well as the new air horns. THey will scare the shit out of any unexpecting person!!
