    Figured it's a pertinent reminder for this time of year... Experienced something similar last winter, although the depth of water was no where near what's in this picture.

    Pro Tip: Check the thickness of ice before driving on it. The height of snow relative to the trees is typically a hint that it's a flooded area...

    So does your winch still work if it's submerged in water?... Though without the engine running you'll have limited battery life...

    Even if you had winch time on battery, the sheer force of water, snow, ice, slush and action would render potential self recovery impossible in that situation imo.
    I submerged a built T100 in a similar situation...and it took an orchestrated effort of a few friends with big trucks and a medium duty tow truck. Yep totaled.
