been slaving away on the tundra whenever i can

done: new front bumper with 2" main tubes, frame horns and tons of radiator and corner protection. plate rear bumper with internal gussets. quick release steering wheel and block off plate. solid mounted lower arms, 1/8" overlay on the pockets with 1/4" "cam tabs", 3/4" bolts. fabbed up secondary hoops, frame plates, installed new lbjs (double sheared with 1/4" plate).

to do before the desert (hopefully friday, if i get all this shit done, otherwise superstition meet!)
burn in secondary hoops and frame plates, locate and weld upper tabs for secondary bypass, install new passenger side hard brake line, bleed brakes. install new (to me) 400lb coils in the rear. weld hairline crack on pass spindle. install new castle nuts, loctite and new bolts, cotter pins, and weld lbjs to spindle.

to do whenever i get a chance
skid plate and tabs. move battery to bed. install remote start and locks. get bungs for new 1.5" .250 wall tie rods, make new tie rods. install new uniballs (old ones arent bad, might wait on this). mount d rings to bed for spare.

the list is never-ending. but not impossible. doubt anyone cares but i'm too tired to start a build thread and this is helping me plan things out. a lot of firsts in the past few weeks but i've learned so much its awesome. can't wait to get this thing out in the dirt and enjoy the fruits of my labor!!!

Curious if those headlights could be made legal like that or not? As long as the beam is a driving light beam and aimed properly, I don't see why not?

the problem isn't how its making light, its how it's directing it... those headlights won't direct the light from all of those little led's accurately enough to be legal

The headlights are retrofitted into the stock housing so that the adjustment is all stock and a stock plug and have built in dimmer for street use. Should work but don't know. We didn't do the lights. Hazardous lighting did the lights

Ah I see lol. TRAC By the time you dim them enough not to blind oncoming traffic, you wont have enough light on the road for yourself. Might want to steer your customer in another direction if thats there intent.

I've noticed alot of dummys up here in the desert using standard 2x2 LEDs as auxiliary headlights lately. Incredibly annoying to loose all night vision when they pass by. I blame the advertisements though. These days 2x2/3x3 are sold as "driving lights" or "fog lights" when in reality they are just nice "offroad lights"

The headlights are not something we did. We simply installed them. Another company built the lights and designed the wiring

I mean, in the end, it all comes down to the owner. If he/she decides to try to DD that thing or drive it around often enough, it's up to the officers discretion how many tickets he writes lol

Any of you guys have any experience with ford 9"s? After installing my new third the seal on the pinion popped out after maybe 30 miles of driving. And of course Strange is closed for the holidays until monday, but my search on the interwebs isnt coming up with anything useful.

if anyone has any battery charging issues make sure to check the green connector on the alternator. Mine looked good but after we re pinned it she started charging again.
