I stayed up late but drove too so I'm feeling fine

 

Just as I suspected.
Same shit, different year.

 

Made it till 11:30 and said f*ck this, it isn't worth it. Kids still got up at 5:30 so it was a good thing I threw in the towel.

 

The neighbors and I just got together. We made 6 racks of ribs and 10lbs of chicken legs. Made it to about 12:01 and I was out knew my tiny human alarm clock would be up early.


OST I got that smoke tube to work took me a little to keep it lit. I was trying to do it while it was standing vertical and that didn't work. I put it on its side and hit it with a propane torch. Let it burn for like 10min then blew out the flame and it smoked for a little over two hours. Just wanted a test run with it, didn't cook wanted to make sure that it would smoke right and not just pump a heave smoke out. Seems like it will be a decent addition, getting it going was the tough part might need to try my map gas torch next time.

 

I was up until 1:30am building Legos and completely missed the new year by 15 minutes...

 

I made it till about 1am playing pool, eating, having a few beers at families house... 1am is late for me... I have a bit of a headache...I think I will do alot of nothing today...Happy New Year!!!!!!!

 

I went to bed around 10 but did get woken back up to see the fireworks on pikes peak. I have to work today so went to bed at a reasonable time.

 

How many dang smokers you need Devin?

I stand mine on end & hit it w/a map gas hand torch for 60sec then let the flame burn for 60sec before blowing it out.

 

What we are talking about is just a tube you put pellets in to add more smoke.

Yeah, I could not get a good ash standing mine on end. Map gas would have helped I'm sure. I did read online if you let it flame for a while and develope a nice ash it smokes a little better. Although I've only lit it once so I have no experience to back it up.




Trying pizzas today. These are the trail runs. I have two larger pizzas to do if it works.

 

I'm afraid your point system may be a bit askew.

That doesnt look like a trail run to me. I think you and your runner have forgotten what a trail run looks like.
