I was running 285 75 16s with a 2in lift. And ya you could go up a setting or add a spacer but it's going to ride stiffer just sTay 3in or under

If you run stock wheels with 33s you need a wheel spacer or buy new wheels with 4.5 back spacing or lower and of course minor trimming is involved nothing horrible tho

Off topic but have you watched the new tmnt movie? Lol I actually thought it was pretty good.

I definitely want some black rims and different tires, but will have to do that when taxes come in. So was wondering if I can run my stock tires and wheels on the lift for a while even though it won't look awesome.

You do not know what you are talking about, the front Bilstiens come with the struts, the lower spring seat, and the top nut and for the lower eyelet Bilstien preinstalls the sleeves and rubber bushings. There's no hardware provided for the top hate period which explains the cost for preassembly.

I have installed plenty of these struts and am very familiar with this trucks suspension. In fact I've probably been doing install work and playing with trucks before you were born (you're 23 right)

But don't take my word for it ;)

Idk where you buy yours stuff from but just becuase you haven't gotten front hardware doesn't mine I haven't because, I have and i can even take a picture for proof and my brother can even speak for me. If you are just going argue about who's brain is bigger than you can message me. No reason to bring age into this I could tear this truck apart and back together faster than you think
Op let's put it this way your truck is so new hardware shouldn't be a issue if it comes with your kit or not if it does install if not don't sweat it if you end up needing it there are plenty of resources

Here's what head strong said in regards to the above:

The standard kit comes with the following items:

Bilstein 5100 adjustable front struts which include the boot, spring seat (which can be set on either 0, 0.85, 1.75, 2.5 to achieve additional lift) and stem nut
Bilstein 5100 standard length rear shocks with boot, new bushings and washers
Coils of your choice either OME 884X, 885X, 886X, 887X, or Eibach coils
1 qty 1/4” top plate spacer for drivers side lean
Deaver 1.5“-2” add-a-leaf with longer center pin

I had heard that people on TW have been discussing what this kit comes with and it does seem quite confusing. The kit comes with everything that you would need for an install MINUS the front strut mount hardware, which includes the strut mount itself, coil isolator, bushings and washers. So in order to install the front shock and coil yourself you would have to remove the factory “coilover” from your truck, decompress your factory coil, remove the strut mount and hardware, compress the new aftermarket coil, and create a new coilover unit using your factory strut mount hardware. If you choose to have us do the assembly for you then you would just have to remove the factory coilover unit and install the new complete unit. There is no need to decompress the factory coil in order to retain any of the strut mount hardware, our assembly includes it.

Here's a pic of what the strut assembly comes with dc2fcade55c22b60a99f3a735c9a4b4a_526d21d59037696d3ee467217676bd0038bc927e.jpg

If your buying a kit you get hardware. The 5100s bought by themselves do not include any hardware. The hardware your getting is being supplied by the vendor your buying from, not bilstein.

And this supports exactly what I was trying to say, this hardware is not included in the kit. In your case you should be fine to reuse this hardware as your truck is new. This hardware is never included with the kits since you are expected to reuse your factory hardware during installation. No company I know includes this strut mount kit with the suspension/lift kit because it just wouldn't make sense to do so, some need it and some don't, it all depends on the condition of the rubber bushings.

Enough of this though, its been officially killed :p

And in addition to the hardware they set up the coilovers for you as well if you add this on, correct? This will depend on who installs mine in my case.
