Oh believe me, I've trimmed a ton of plastic and smashed that pinch weld flat with a 4lb maul. Still rub when turning and articulating. I've got my caster set pretty aggressively to help with the tracking on the highway so that moves my wheels toward the back of the wheel wells. Would be awesome to get an inch or two of clearance through the entire range of motion.

They are the perfect combination with the auto transmission! Best money I've spent on the truck... After the wheels and tires, that is. Hahaha

I ended up getting a Tepui instead! I went back and forth MANY times but I liked the heavier duty material of the ruggedized version so I went with that. No matter what both are very good tents, couldn't have gone wrong with either choice. You gotta head out sometime with us! Me and 5 other trucks from here are going camping this weekend

Very cool! I was about to pull the trigger on a Tepui ruggedized but the CVT group buy prices were just too compelling.

Man, I would love to join you guys but I'm working tomorrow - Sunday morning. Keep me posted for other outings though. Would be great to meet up with some local folks for some adventures!

Up to Darrington, do some snow wheeling and then find a good spot to camp

Windshield LED light bar coming in the next week to week and a half! Stoke levels are pretty high right now.

Just added a Blue Sea 12v outlet in the bed and changed the connector on the RTT interior LED lights to a Blue Sea 12v plug. Much cleaner and more versatile than a flat two-prong trailer plug!

Nice man im happy for you! Do you use a heated blanket in the RTT for winter camping? And where did you get the light bar/brackets from? Relentless?

No, no heated blanket, but I've got a cabela's 0-degree sleeping bag that does just fine. Got some an interior LED strip along the middle RTT support on a lamp switch. Works great.

I got the bar from Amazon -- same specs/dimensions as Relentless Rampage 42" curved bar, but $275 cheaper haha. I got Relentless lo-profile light bar mounts (supposed to be delivered today actually).

I read a few guys that have a heated blanket and like it, my 0 degree bag was good in 25ish degrees but I would have liked to be warmer. Sometime I would like to check out how you did the LED strips though!

I had my brackets from relentless, the 2nd gen ones weren't designed very good but the first gen ones have held up well I've heard. Let me know if you'd like any help installing it!

For sure! Having the light at the push of button is extremely handy and very straightforward as far as wiring goes -- just a little time-consuming haha.

I heard something about the 2nd gen brackets cracking, but sounds like the 1st gen ones are fine. Jberry's running 'em on his long-traveled Tacoma, which probably subjects his light bar mounts to far more force than I ever will in mine.

Any tips/tricks for getting everything lined up on the install? Where'd you pass the power wire through into the cab?

My 2nd gen brackets cracked within a month, took 5 months for them to make reenforced ones then I sold it with the light bar.

I ran the wire down the side of my windshield and under my hood. If your brackets were any like mine you have to bend them in A LOT. They won't look right at all at first. I have extra tubing that I put on the back of the light bar to get rid of the whistle that you can have. You do need 2 people to put the light bar on though

BOOM! I love it when a plan comes together. Installed a 40" LED lightbar above the windshield this afternoon and just fired it up in the dark now... VERDICT: STUPID BRIGHT!

    I love it.

    And, of course, PICS:
