The top one feels loose. The back does not fit flush against the back of the seat.

Boogie - I can't do the 11th, but am thinking about running out there on the 24th.

I think I'll be able to stop by for a bit.

Ill try to make it up as well. Would love to see some trucks with running boards and mods that I would like to do before I pull the trigger and buy them.

Lots of new people popping up. The meet on the 8th will be people from many forums and chapters. Not sure if the landrover people are meeting on the same day. But Jeeps, Rovers, Discoveries, Taco's, 4Runners, EarthRoamer, and many other vehicles show up.

Edit- the tires on the GMC are LT's. No wonder they've lasted so long. P rated would've probably been done in already from driving on construction jobs.

Would a stock 2015 DCSB 4x4 SR5 do okay at RCOR? I'd definitely be game for trying it out, I'm new to the truck owning world. What would be the minimum upgrades you'd recommend?

I thought about calling out from work to join, but decided against.

What was it like - lots of people? did anyone check your permit?

    Did you take any pics/vids?

I went out in my Tacoma with my brother and his Dodge Ram and we only saw one other vehicle on the trail. I bet there would be more people on a warmer day though. The trail itself is great: just over 8 miles of dirt, rock, inclines, declines, etc. A bit more mud would have been nice. The trail isn't really difficult and I only put my truck in 4-Hi a couple of times. Permit for the day is only $5 and they give you a bracelet to wear. No one checked ours but it's completely random if a park ranger will be out looking around.

I'm definitely going back again so we need to get some Tacomas together for a trail meet!

I have a few vids I took with my GoPro that I'll post on Youtube and provide a link to here. They are just dashcam vids.

*Trail is closed from the 3rd weekend in January through early March.

There are a bunch of areas at RCOR that you will not be able to do but there's still plenty of small trails and mudpits safe for stock vehicles.

To do most everything at RCOR you probably need a 3" lift with some solid off-road 33" tires.

There are some obstacles or trails that only a hardcore vehicle will be able to tackle.

I'm planning on heading out on Sunday 1/11, you should come!

They open at 10 and I usually get there around that time. I just noticed that they jacked their prices for 2015 though. Now it's $40 per vehicle and $10 per extra passenger other than the driver. WTF!

Here's a link to one of my Peter's Mill Run GoPro vids from the other day. Took forever to upload to YouTube and the quality is just average compared to the HD version on my computer.

Wow, yeah that's a little pricey. I'll have to pass on that for a while, after just buying the truck funds are a little low :) Be great to see some vids though if you get a chance.
