Im interesting in buying a lift from ToyTec I notice they have several options for a 3" lift. I just need the lift the fit my tires 285/70/16 which I understand is the biggest size I can fit for a 3" lift (hope im not wrong). I don't need something fancy, just a lift. Which one do you guys recommend.

    Thanks.

thanks! no i do not have this lift, i have a top plate spacer/block lift. i highly recommend you never ever get this lift on your truck. however, ome lifts are great. ive heard and seen nothing but good things about them. if you really want to do it right, get the ultimate lift kit with the ome shocks to go with the lift. it's $699 but definitely one of the best 3" lifts out there

yes that is the lift i am talking about. definitely the way i would go for a starter lift. if you do not want the shocks now, save up and get them later. you will no doubt notice a much better and smoother ride

personally, i feel that the complete ome lift kit ($699 @ toytec) is the best 3" lift kit. some will say coilovers are better than ome coils. the only true difference is that coilovers are adjustable and the ome coils are not. icon makes some pretty good coilovers but for just a daily driver with light offroading the complete ome kit is just about the best.

many get the toytec ultimate lift kit. main difference is that it comes with coilovers.

I can attest for the OME kit. I ran it for a while. Next better lift is a nice pair of coilovers with ucas and thats pricey.

x2 with the uca's...totally forgot about that. if you lift it 3" you may want to look into some aftermarket uca's eventually. it will help align your truck back to factory specs thus making it handle better especially on the interstate

If you dont offroad a lot the light racing ucas are great. You can even get a uca that uses your ball joints and its cheaper. But if you have the cash get tc ucas. Those are what most people have and love them including me.

No doubt. on the wish list...
I'm going to try and start with just the front Coilovers, UCA's and rear add a leaf's. maybe half the price...
I"ve been reading the stickied post Lifting you truck! Things you need to know.that also has a great breakdown...

Do you know what load range those KM2's are ? I am looking at buying a set and all I can find are "E" load range. I hear that the ride will suffer with a higher load range. I have Icons and TC UCA's just need the wheels and tires:D

Why do you recommend the OME coil instead of the spacer?????? I guess what i mean is why would i want to replace a coil with the another coil in the kit, what's the difference?
