Oh I know! I've been eyeing the mini-iPad set-up in the dash.

Start with a in dash navigation head unit...then nice door speakers. If that isn't enough, go amp and sub...

Agree with Slim. Would probably do a great set of components and possibly upgrade everything to 8" for the bass in the doors though.

8" in the doors may be more than he is willing to do...

Chris this is the system I have

Amp- Pioneer GMA3602 with a T-SPEC V6 RAK8 amp kit 68.99 for the amp and 21.99 for the amp kit

    JBL GTO 8608C - http://www.crutchfield.com/p_109GTO8606/JBL-GTO8606c.html?search=Gto8606c&osp=gto8606c&tp=105

Discontinued from crutchfield but are 100$ on other sites...

They are great for the price...

And the hit hard... Ill have to sound deaden the truck because everything rattles!

I went with a single din HU from Pioneer because it will do High pass frequency and has every tune feature and was only 100$

And I also plan on putting my first 6 switches under the cubbyhole under the head unit

Ya! Way too much and the window would get in the way if they are not a shallow speaker

Spent the rainy afternoon soldering wires. Got my bed lights ready for install. 1 strip on each side, 1 strip across the front lip of the toolbox, and one strip inside the toolbox.
And new LED backup lights to mount under the bumper.

Disconnects so I can still remove the toolbox when needed.

yeah, they nice. wish i had the newer model that has a connector that connects on the actual spod for the switches instead of havin to plug in each switch wire. Jandrews has the new one and its just less of a bundle under the cover
