Yeah. These are the matching F&R LSD 4.56s I picked up a while back for $800. They *used* to be a deal!

Pictures From Friday night/Early Saturday morning working on the rig.

We took the 3rds to my neighbors. He helped get the pinion nut off and set the new 3rds spacer by hand.

Here's the rig my neighbor is currently building.

ENORMOUS thanks to Jonnie for letting me use his shop, driving me all over town, providing a bed and breakfast, staying up Way Too Late to make sure everything worked out, following up with me on my way home to make sure things were doing fine, and just generally taking on this whole mess as his own. You're a saint, man!
Another HUGE thanks go out to Matt. Fucking again. He's never going to lose weight at the rate I keep at this. He dropped what he was doing to break into my garage, box up my spare third and install parts, and use his company's account to save me some money to overnight it to me. (If only FedEx hadn't dropped the ball on that! Oh well- more money saved!) All this only a year after dropping what he was doing to drive 7 hours in the middle of the night to come get my ass after breaking my truck the first time. I hope I don't make this an annual habit!
And a BIG thanks also goes out to Cody, for keeping Jonnie company while I got dicked around by my roadside assistance, but more importantly for hearing me mention "rental car" while I was thinking out loud and, noting that it was after 5:00pm on New Years Eve, called five different places and managed to not only find a place the was still open, but talked them in to staying open late just for us. Thanks to him, I was able to see my family for New Years and make it so my wife and son could leave for home ahead of me.
And of course thanks to y'all who worked things out here, provided support, and just generally had a good time watching things unfold. What a great community!

And just in case some of you were interested in a long, interesting read about my former mis-adventure: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/so...cue-needed-anybody-near-ridgecrest-395-a.html
