I have a 2002 TRD and I want to put on the OME from Toytec. But I have a few questions.
    1. What is the biggest tire that will fit? I want 33s or the equivalent.
    2. Should I get Wheel spacers? I was looking at All-Pro 1.25"
    3. Can I use the 883s if I don't have the extra weight up front? Eventually I will get a plate bumper but can't yet.
Thank you all for your help.

OME 883's and Dakars, OME Shocks, Gray Wire, Deck Plate, Blacked Out Chrome, RAT Skids, BAMF BPV Bracket, Toytec Diff Drop, Braided Extended Brake Lines Front and Rear, In-Dash Nav.

1- I'm running the OME kit on my 03 Access Cab and I'm running 265/75/16's or 32's on my truck. 33's will fit if you flatten the pinch weld behind the front wheels. Otherwise 32's are as large as you can go.

2 - Running the stock 03 TRD wheels my tires rub on frame at full lock but it's just a minor touch and it's on a flat part of the frame so i'm not too worried about it. Wheel spacers would stop the tire from touching the frame but might cause issues at the flares and mud flaps. I'm personally kicking around the idea of the 3/4 spacers but I wouldn't go any wider.

3 - I went with the 883's and I can tell you that without additional weight up front they will be stiff. If you are putting real skids on or going with a plate bumper soon then I would go with the 883's otherwise put the 881's on and swap over to the 883's when you add the additional weight.

I've got a double cab and was told that I should use the 883's because its heavier than the xtra cabs. Is this true?

883s aren't an issue with a DC without any extra weight. I did it for a year and a half without issue. It rode a little stiff initially but it softened up enough for me to like them. Then I added a bumper and removed my sway bar and they ride awesome. You can run 33s with spacers or wheels with different backspacing. I'm running 16x8 with I believe 4" backspacing and I rubbed the pinchweld before grinding it down.

Would you happen to know the backspacing etc. for the stock chrome ones I have on my truck? I was looking at some new ones to get but I don't know the backspacing of my current ones to determine what kind I would need for the new ones

I always get confused with wheel specs like that, but I believe stock TRD wheels have 4.5" backspacing. I hope someone confirms this though.

What I remember when doing my research was 3.5-4" should be about right for 33s on 3" of lift.

Ok, well I asked that in the wheel and tire section and no one ever responded. I'll try to do some more research but I searched for a couple of hours and couldn't find anything. Thank you though
