    I'm not sure I would trust him with that. I didn't trust Carroll with it until they hired Schneider and we saw how they would grow to work so closely together. They turned over like 300 players in the first 2-3 years.

    Just saw on ESPN that Shanahan spent 4 hours interviewing with SF and that they really liked him. He might be the offensive mind they are looking for. I thought he, along with everyone else, has gotten a shit deal in Washington ... but ... I would be pretty disappointed if he was named the head coach of my team.

    He's an effective coach, but he forces his scheme down the players' throats rather than adjusting to the strengths of his players.

    Plus, personally, he's a walking, talking pile of shit. So, I wouldn't be happy about getting him either.

    On a side note:

    Here's my perfect world scenario:

    Detroit upsets Dallas tomorrow.
    The winner of the Cards/Panthers comes to Lambeau.

    Detroit upsets Seattle, meaning the NFCCG is held at Lambeau with the winner of Packers/Loins going to the Owl.

    Ya I just feel so bad for Arizona fans, the injuries really screwed them and it's showing. Such a stout defense and with plenty of opportunities but that offense just can't do anything.

    Agreed. They got badly hosed w/ injuries and couldn't do much without Palmer and Ellington. I thought that they'd be the team to beat Seattle, but that was before all the injuries started to pile up.

    And Larry Foote is 90. The Hawks tight ends ate him alive on coverage. I think Arians is a great coach and could possibly bring a championship to the Cardinals. Hopefully Fitzgerald ends up with the Hawks next season.
