This is my second 4WD pickup, Barcelona red, 6-speed manual TRD with Entune Premium. First one was an '85 red 5-speed SR5 with Xtra cab. That was a lot of fun. Looking forward to taking this one out soon! Paid $32000 plus fees. IMG_0627a_zps591b686e_0d099424eff261d781c137c9b7fe63d6edfc147e.jpg

But... I got top dollar trade on my accord... $1500 more than other stealership offers!
    2.45 interest for 60 months.
True cost was the difference between the new and old vehicles.

Thanks for this website and threads. They were very informative and helped me get a sense of what others were paying for the options I wanted. I was also impressed with the community on these forums and it was a factor in choosing this vehicle over the competition. See you around!

Has anyone here had to order their Tacoma from a dealership? If so, how long did it take to get your truck and were you able to negotiate a good price? We are ready to purchase our Tacoma but the colors we want (Pyrite Mica with Sand Beige interior) are rare. We did find one (DCSB 4X4 SR5 trim) but without navigation. If it had navigation, we would have tried to make a deal and drive it home. Looking for 2015 DCSB 4X4, SR5 package and tow package with navigation. Pyrite Mica with Sand Beige interior. Looking forward to becoming a Toyota Tacoma owner!

Got a price quote of $500 below invoice from the COSTCO buying plan. DC 4x4 Auto SR5 Haven't pulled the trigger yet. Might be worth the cost of a COSTCO membership.
I heard their deals were really good and it appeares to be true.

I would shop around even when getting a price through Costco, i paid about $1700 less then the pricr through Costco.

Think I got a pretty good deal. 2015 DCSB PreRunner V6 AT, SR5, entune audio plus, tow package, floor mats.

    From Springfield Toyota:

$25609 before TTF & the maintenance plan. $28,075 out the door. They also gave me a pretty sweet trade in on my 2010 regular cab base model ($12,000).

    What do you guys think?

Sorry to be a pest here but we are going to make an offer on a Tacoma tomorrow morning. 2015 DCSB, SR5, 4X4, Tow Package, Entune Audio Plus, Chrome Tube Steps, Exhaust Tip and floormats/door sill protectors. MSRP is $32,995. Going to offer $31,500 +/-. Does that sound like a reasonable starting point? That is about $275 below what TrueCar is showing. Thanks again for the help and suggestions. We may be Tacoma owners tomorrow afternoon!

I got that truck except long box (which cost more) and no steps for $30300.
I would start lower. They can always say no and you can cone up but never back down.

So the dealership where I bought the prerunner from spot delivered me, and although the rate they promised only went up slightly, it rubbed me the wrong way, so I took the truck back.

Got my own financing from Navy Federal, and went to different dealership where a Blue Ribbon 4x4 dcsb v6 at, tow package, entune audio plus, 16" alloy wheels, SR5 Extra Value Package, carpet floor mats, was waiting for me.

    MSRP $32,375. Paid $29,615 +TTF. $31,400 OTD.

I am in upstate NY and purchased a Blue Ribbon TRD OR with Tow, Etune, rubber mats, door sills and spare tire lock. MSRP $33,845.

Now quoting what I paid is a challenge. I had a trade in and think I got a fair deal based on what other dealers were offering.

For example based upon the tax the other guy in NY I quoted had, he must have had a trade in. How did you do on your trade?

A $599 dealer fee and $345 for registration is outrageous. I don't want gift cards either. I see dealers throwing Tv's out there too. Regardless I think if any of these deals on the last x amount of pages has a trade in, we will never truly know what price someone paid.

I had this thread open at the dealers I went to and the trade is what made it tough to decipher what people were really paying.

If I go with the number I wanted for my trade, I can tell you I got $1,100 off MSRP. Realistically my trade should have fetched more, but the market spoke and I vetted that by shopping several dealers. Winter in NY and you are going to pay a premium for a 4x4 so again I am content with my deal, but could have done better if I waited longer, did not care about color or options and had tons of free time.

Best part was I had a Silver 08 and took the warn trans4mer (have to mod up rights to fit the 15) roof rack, factory running boards, stainless tip, access tonneau, Toyota bed mat and TRD FJ wheels off it before trade.

That's where I got my 2014 DCSB TRD Sport 4x4 with Entune Premium, Tow, Nav, etc... Just a little less than you paid for the 2015.

I thought it was a decent deal. Nice work.
