    I picked up my aal same day I picked up Chux's LP and aal but when we did his we ran out of time to do mine :( My BPF rack is about 70lbs + RTT + HC bumper in about 2 months wso I rather rock the aal too.

    Like I did for Jay and intended to do for Scott... I can pick them up for you. I'm a bit closer than the majority of the NJDBs... it will only cost you a beer or a Margarita or maybe a hand with my aal/ubolt flip/wheelers super bumps install lol... nah jk

    The kid from NY with the Reg cab that did the twin stick mod had the 63" springs done on his. Looked solid but as I recall the ass was sitting way high as they were not broken in yet.
    Nice thing is that you can source the Chevy leafs for like $60 apparently.

    The swap to the 63s wasn't too difficult... Just keeping the axle in the same location relative to stock was a bit tricky. My truck sat way higher than I thought it would probably because it was so light. Unfortunately i totaled it before I got a chance to correct that. I think a heavy bumper with a spare tire hanging off the back would have dropped the back a lot.

    As far as the flex I think you'd be hard pressed to beat them. I could use all the travel of the 12" bilstiens i put in the truck. If you guys have more specific questions that I could help answer let me know.

    And yeah, the springs are dirt cheap. I got mine for $60... I forget exactly what years have the springs. Any of the 90's Chevys will have them, 2wd only has 3 leafs and the 4x4 has 4 I believe. Truck rode so much smoother with the long flexy Chevy shocks.

    Nice thing about the used springs is they're not gonna settle more on you; at least not for me going on a reg cab. They're already totally broken in, toying with the height to get it right will take a bit of trial and error. My options were either shorter shackles or moving the hanger forward which probably would have been the right answer. I also kept te overload in which added another half inch, coulda dropped that easily... Oh well :eek:

    I think my buddy has his old leaf packs just sitting out of his truck since he is SASing his GMC... Not sure on the year but its a 90's model... Gonna see if he still has them or if he scrapped them
