    Good morning all. :)

Glad ya'll are home safe ... I suspected you were gonna earn your pay on that one. I did two tours (6 yrs) working Air Force Rescue Coordination Center ... if nothing else that job gave me a deep respect for weather and when to say when with regards to it. Always got me down when we worked missions involving kids. :(

x2 ... Well said Tom.

Sad story about that family in the plane crash. I don't know a lot of technical details about flying but it seems to me that a prop plane like that is going to have a really tough time in an ice storm. Makes me wonder what it was doing in the air.

Good joke Jim! I was waiting for the cabbie to say, "shoot her, marry him!"

Weather hasn't started here yet. NWS CONUS map shows it bearing down on us though.

Happy to hear you made it home safely... mad passengers will get over it and if not, no big deal

I hate flying anymore. Don't like flying sardine cans. Yeah, don't like most people either

Just a little of the "issues" are because of the airlines being greedy and how can I screw the passenger. They should ENFORCE the bag size limit.

Was watching the weather channel a bit ago and  on the weather in PA and that area. Glad I'm not up there. Stay safe

 morning, uh,,,, afternoon boys

He's got my son wrapped around his little paw :D

:woot: for grand-puppy's.... just get to spoil them and send back to mom and dad :D

Hope she gets that lemon bought back. She doesn't need to have to deal with that on top of everything else.

They have been spoiled their entire lives and have never had to think about anyone else. Lets give everyone a trophy or award  :annoyed:

    morning gang!!!

    Cute pup Susan! Congratulations!

I have a bunch of components from our former stereo system, which I replaced with a 'home theater' -ish setup last year. I have the components up for sale on craigslist and I'm getting exactly zero responses. My wife, who somehow managed to skate through the 60's in some kind of Donna Reed fog, keeps asking me what we're going to do with all of those old LP's downstairs. So, mathematical genius that I am, I added up 1 + 1 and said, "honey, I had a turntable packed away in a box when we moved in here; have you seen it?" We finally found it up on a top shelf of a back corner of a seldom-entered storage area. Looks like one of the cats made a bed out of it because it had about 1/2" of cat hair all over the top.

Anyway, long story short: I hooked up all of the old stuff and now we can listen to my old vinyl again! First thing I did was put on Zevon's Excitable Boy and play "Werewolves of London". Of course my wife had never heard it. :)

I still have a bit of finishing work to do but I'll post pics when it's done.

Nice pup Susan. Is it for you or one of the grand children?

Dave  for the turntable and vinyl.

Whoa the mutton chops. Loved the traffic behind the performance.
