You might not have needed then, but I did in my 2010. They are cheap and you should get then just to be safe

I got the carrier bearing drop but haven't needed it either. 06 DCSB and no driveline vibes at all. Guess it's situationally dependent.

When you add any lift to the rear you change the angle of the drive shaft. For some they get the vibes, and some don't. The shims go under the new AAL

I'm definitely in on the group pricing unless 10 people have already claimed it. I was actually about to order this kit yesterday and stumbled across this thread. Thanks OP! Did y'all notice that Head Strong's Eibach springs provide 2.5 inches of lift with shocks @ zero. Toytec's only give you 1.6? I wonder how the longer coils ride. I'm torn between those and the 885's. Any suggestions?

Will it just be the bilstein 5100 ome kit, or can I get other kits they offer, like the OME complete suspension kit

Edit. Never mind answered my own question

Toytec also offers both series of Eibach springs if you look at the site. Like I have previously stated in this kit for the group buy it comes with standard rear Bilstein's which I believe will not work on with a 1.5 to 2.0 inch AAL

The OP of this thread needs to update the first post with all the details because I don't feel liked sifting through four pages of this thread to see what the deal is.

Exactly I think standard rear 5100's are for 0 to 1 inch of lift. And if your adding a 1.5 to 2.0 AAL that's no good.

Has anybody addressed the standard rear shock length being sold with the kit? They are for 0 to 1 inch of lift. So if you are getting a 1.5 to 2.0 inches of lift these won't work.

    Common misconception...

You get the lift from the AAL supporting the factory pack (more arch is maintained w/the support of the AAL). An AAL does not give the factory pack more droop and it only adds about 1/4" to the thickness of the pack so the shock is only required to extend out 1/4" more and can easily do so.

Can't tell you how many people get confused with this. Adding an AAL is not like added a block, which literally increases the thickness of the pack the size of the block (i.e. 2" block requires the shock to extend down an additional 2 inches)

Honestly it really makes no sense for a company to say this shock supports this much lift since it really depends on the type of lift your getting (AAL, Block, New leaf pack).

    Hope this helps
