Stop driving like this and you'll be fine.

I've watched people run stop signs in front of cops, and the cops don't seem to care.

Westin lights, Westin Light bar holder, New front bumper, Custom floor matts, Steering wheel cover, board in bed to keep groceries from rolling around, new radio, New flat bed cover.
I hate when people run stop signs.

    On the DIY mods

A wooden board I found in my garage to prevent grocerys from rolling around and anything else...... no. Got some planned though.

I kept hearing this infernal rattle that sounded like metal hitting metal, when I'd drive on dirt roads with lots of cobble or washboards. I checked the motor, transmission and t-case mounts and they were all fine. I checked the drivelines, center bearing, front diff, CV axles and all suspension components with the truck up in the air on jackstands and no load on the suspension. I checked everything underhood, the front clip and the safety bumper. Finally when I had enough for one day and shut the hood, I heard the rattle again for a split-second. I opened the hood and discovered that the hood prop is wiggly even when it is secured in the plastic clip that holds it down. I already had the leftover pipe insulation and zip ties, so the "silent hood prop" mod cost me $0.00, and when I leave the pavement my truck no longer rattles like a '92 Dodge Neon with a bad aero kit.

Get Redline Tuning hood struts and you won't have to keep that "silent" prop rod :D

Glad you found an easy quick fix  to you

Did you see the quote with the picture on post #540 ?

Looks like a different tire held on with 1 bolt.

I was going to mention that before. I bought two of those Harbor Freight tires to fix a hand dolly a while back. The whole basement stunk of freshly molded rubber for weeks!

I had that happen when i ordered my Rokblokz Mud flaps. They smelled like molded plastic and cigarettes :puke:

A week later and they had no smell at all :)

Not really a mod but it was frugal, did it myself, and will be used for my tacoma. Took a plank of wood and old stool to be thrown away, hammered the wheels off, drilled holes in each corner, and wedged the wheels in. About 20 minutes time.
