Tackled mine in the past few days too. The write up was perfect and all went smooth. Plugs cost less than $30.00 and dealer wanted close to $200 for job.

Flaps go in back. Damage is in front. If it's the mudflaps I'll need it explained to me..

If you had step bars on there that would help. I've had my flaps off for 2 yrs and had no problems!

Ever notice the rock guard on the leading edge of the rear fender? Front mudflaps prevent most, but that rock guard catches hell also.

Yes they placed that little piece of hard ass clear plastic in a good location to help prevent that to some degree. I for one am glad it is there.

Sliders ariving Thursday. As for fronts I thought that too but the chips are upward in a straight line....
See what I wrote above. But I don't see any other reason so that could be it, I have been known to be wrong before.
This is what I was hoping you people would understand.

1 - Front wheel throws rocks in a spray pattern, air flow pulls them in at that point.
2 - I thought I was wrong once too... Turns out I was mistaken.
    3 - Nope. I don't speak the language.

I put my (front) flaps on too late this year and now my truck is F'd exactly there. This happened on my 2005 even with flaps. I'm in a bad salt and sand area and it destroys it. Have to run the flaps unless you drive on a street that doesn't see anything but rain.

I really like the idea of using this and being able to position the phone where it's more visible, but I have a ProClip mount with a charging cable attached so all I have to do is place my phone in the mount and it holds it very well, as well as keeps it charged. This mobarmor seems to require too many steps just to attach the phone.

Forgot to mention I finally installed my SOS Concept sliders with detachable steps that I purchased last summer. Maybe I'll remember to get a pic tomorrow.

    I bounce it offa stuff.
Half an hour for the head unit. Ran AUX jack, USB and BT mic through the change holder on left side. Going to deal with securing cables tomorrow. I built the harness up a couple of days ago so once I got the old stereo out it was plug and play. Tweeters I got have built-in crossovers, so it was just clipping wires off factory tweeters and splicing in new wires. Maybe 10 minutes per side.

Never thought I'd endorse a pair of $7 speakers, but if you want something cheap to do on a tuesday afternoon, this is it.
