    Depends. I didn't watch the game to be honest. I'm building a nursery right now for my first child that's on the way.

    He can show flashes of offensive talent and his speed is absolutely astounding. The problem is he can't figure out how to use that speed to play his position properly. I've advocated moving a few of the AHL guys up into the 5/6 spots and trying Gardiner as a forward for a while now.

    Otherwise, yes, Gardiner has been a colossal waste of money... again :facepalm:.

    Congrats! I'm actually working on my second's future nursery myself tonight!

    Gardiner would try to start a play behind his net with the Winnipeg forecheckers skating in over the blueline and would crumble under minimal pressure. Happened all night long. Maybe he wasn't getting much support from his teamates, but ended up coughing up the puck in his own end a lot.
