Anyone seen advertisement for ALASKA OFFROAD WARRIORS?

I'm really enjoying this show, yes there are some issues with the show but still, there isn't a lot of choice in this genre. How many other off-road shows are there? This is the first one I've seen in my market
I'm loving it mostly because I love Seeing Toyotas used in their element.
I'm pulling for the guys in the war wagon, I have a soft spot for Land Cruisers due to having a couple in the past. My BJ60 was a machine off road as was my FJ40, and they never broke.

 

I agree completely. I actually really like it after the first few episodes kind of adjusted my expectations.

If you have some time to kill watch the entire XO series in order, on their website. That's also a good show.

Both are scads better than Teen Mom (unless you watch the Farrah Abraham porn Teen Mom, that's way better... ) or pretty much all the other shit on the tele.

Those Alaskans can talk all the shit they want about the super jeep crew but they are they only ones that came prepared for the terrain. No they shouldn't have left the others behind but if they hadn't helped everyone the last time superjeep would've won the competition in the last episode. Just saying.

 

I don't get how they were surprised to see a land anchor, use a big boat anchor in a pinch but what do they think people winch out with in the desert?

 

Well I guess Pete thinks he's better than the superjeep crew by leaving them behind after he just went off on them the day before. Hypocrit, could've been the bigger man by helping them out. And now the rest of them, bunch of asshats. They would've been out in the last episode if it wasn't for superjeep.

I dunno. In this case, I'd say turn about is fair play. And lest ya forget, they got themselves out just fine without the land anchor and the 'Runners have done so in the past as well. They've only used the Super Heep's land anchor that once. I don't think it's so much hypocrisy as he wants to "teach them a lesson" in the consequences of their actions.

On the other hand, Pete was a little harsh in denouncing them. He does always seem to be the one to make the negative statements without hesitation, like he did when the LR died. Of course, that could just be part of the fake drama. I dunno.

Clearly, Carl felt significantly guilty about not helping everyone else out. Rich, on the other hand, seems to be pretty cavalier about it, like he couldn't care less about anyone but himself.

The part I find somewhat interesting is that the Super Heep is still like four hours ahead of everyone else.

 

Rich is definitely an instigator, and seems to feel safe in doing so as long he has support from Carl, but I think that may be tarting t wear thin. I can see Carl trying to patch things up, but Rich seems to have a huge chip on his shoulder for being a tag-a-long.

As far as passing them goes, it didn't affect time too much, so it was more of notice (imo) to Superheap than anything else.

 

Haha, I was going to say that Rich seems to have a chip on his shoulder for not being Alaskan.

On another note: Using a hammer to get the starter working...been there, done that.

The whole "you're not Alaskan, lower forty eighter" shit needs to stop. Shut the fuck up. No one cares and it's annoying to everyone watching the show.

Most, if not all, of the obstacles where people are stuck seem to have an easy avoidance path on either side and the trails are all pretty well marked/driven.

I still think it's going to be between the SAS 4runner and superjeep. They are the two most worthy expedition style rigs with the best overall setups and competent drivers/ teams on the show.

how do the 2 brothers expect for them to keep waiting on someone to pull them out its a race they should have expected they where going to need a little more stuff to pull there self out

 

Yea Pete and Shay could've been way ahead in time standings if they didn't babysit the Lame brothers, they should've been out when they coildnt even change their own tire. The asshole Rover crew needs to go home, from the previews you can clearly see them obstructing the actual contestants/racers on this show.
