Well the torque on that nut would decide that depth right?!

No. The spacer between the two bearings does. Why it matter if it's a crush or solid. If it's solid. Doesn't matter. It's already setup. If it's acrush, then it's a one time deal. Otherwise it'll be loose.

I have a TC spindle and plan to rip the inner fenders out. I just have never seen the TC or Camburg Bolt on kits bump off the spindle before.

Yes i forgot about that Logan, the bolts punches through the inner fenders already. So what youre saying is, you think if someone attempts to bump off the spindle the Cans would be sticking out of the hood LOL

i wouldn't bump off of a stock spindle, gusseted or not...
not only do you have to have the can up really high (doable but tight), thats a ton of force for a gusseted cast piece...

Total Chaos +2 LT w/ 2.5 x 8 Kings, 700 lb coils, Chevy 63s, BAMF Shock relocation, 12" King Smoothies, Locker Anytime Mod, 5% Tint All Around, 4xInnovations full skids, Custom Made Rock Sliders, 4xInnovations HC Rear Bumper w/ Tire Carrier, SOS Original Plate 2 Front Bumper, 130 w KC Slimlites, Homertaco Raptor Grill, Bestop Supertop, Smittybilt 9500 lb winch, Flowmaster 40 series, JVC deck w/ 12" Rockford Fosgate T1 in custom box, and lots more!!
Dang guys, okay so my head hurts now. The coilover bible was... a lot of info. I don't know my sprung corner weight or any of that jazz so I didn't want to start messing around with the spring rate calculator...

What I got from that article is I want something as soft as I can get, but firm enough to still function. So to accomplish this I need a longer spring with a lighter spring rate.

Ok, This is where you guys come in. I can't find any information related to the TC 2" LT kit...
What's the longest spring I can go with it?
What spring rate should I run with it w/ all the weight I'm going to be running up front (full plate bumper, winch, skids)?
Then I have to figure out what size shocks to get with that... any ideas? I know I will be able to run limit straps.
I can't find any place to just order separate springs and shocks either. The only place I've found is downsouthmotorsports.com and they only have king springs for sale.
Ok so now lets say I decide a spring I want to get, now where do I get the shocks and the rest of the things to assemble the coilover?

The whole thing seems a little meh... I don't know where you guys buy all the stuff for your setups. I can't find a coilover anywhere that says it'll work with a TC 2" LT kit. Additionally almost no coilovers will say their spring rate.

The only thing I've found to go off is MrGrimm's build. He's running 16" 700 lb king coils on icons. That seems pretty stiff for building a flexy trail rig.

I'm aiming for around 3" of lift and something soft enough to stuff and droop. I'm sick of the current suspension that does nothing and now I'm frustrated :frusty: Please help!

Poly performance.com is what I'd recommend. Maybe Sdhq? Call them too, the online listings don't list everything.

I havnt had personal experience but it seems if you call these comapanies like DSMS or SDHQ they will walk through your specific truck and what the coilovers should have for spring rate and valving, like trusso said the websites dont list every possible options.

Also for LT kits the coilovers should be 2.5x8in,

I think TC has king and fox coilovers built to work with our trucks and their kit

I've got that one thing, and that other one thing, oh yeah and that other other one thing.
Anyone know of another brand besides Relentless that makes a 42 inch light bar bracket? Can't find any to save my life.

Nothing against Relentless, haven't been able to get a hold of them.

You know what, I didn't even think about how much relentless has been backed up, a few months ago I ordered 50" radius bar mounts and they showed up pretty quickly. Within a month I'd say. I wasn't waiting to put the bar on so I really didn't pay attention, but I do remember thinking they showed up pretty quickly. Just ordered straight off the website

They don't have it listed. I know I saw a thread on here about them though.

Phone won't let me copy paste for some reason. It's on page 2 of the 2005+ Tacoma on the relentless site.

Oh, for 42" I don't know. I feel like those are uncommon enough he may have just done a limited run but never put it into production.
