You must not have the same problem as me? My old lady doesn't shut up. "You're going too fast, slow down! "(going maybe 60 in a 55) "You hit the brakes too fast!"(Guy in front of me slammed on his brakes) "Do we have to have the music up loud while you drive?!"(Its on the 2nd lowest level) "Don't text and drive you're going to kill yourself!" (It is voice activated) Those are the normals off the top of my head.

It's been going down since I've came back in Nov. The pump is going out.
The guy that ran it while I was out never put in any wo#. So I've been dealing with a machine that has 6 months of neglect.

    The Bastid! :frusty:

:sorry: ... So how do you get them to replace the pump? Or will they make you go to complete failure?

Not all ... But many have baseline traits in common ... I don't even pretend to understand ... Just roll with it. ;)

Not sure. This particular pump has been replaced once before. Before they switched to this new design they were rebuilding 2 pumps every month.
These new pumps have paid for themselves time and time again.
Right now, less slurry with the same amt of air creates this wicked mist and I can't even see the part in the booth with in fact is a safety hazard.
So, not sure if impeller is clogged or this pump is just wore out.

The other issue is that the sole maintanance guy who was always sent to this machine, my good friend Sam, retired last year. So now I'm basically hafting to go over all the bs breakdowns with the new techs because they havnt ever worked on this machine.

So, can you push the safety hazard aspect to get them to figure it out and fix it. With the size stuff you're working, that has to be extremely uncomfortable to deal with. :notsure:

Is that where the burrs are at? Or is it the feed ramps?

It's at the exit of the barrel that looks not perfectly round. It's a revolver so there are no feed ramps. I'll take a picture when I get home after 0900.
