    You have a point. :D

But like i said. I'd love a lever action but don't have any experience with any brand of lever action or what caliber to choose in one.

Y'all must need to do some reading.
Maine is also an open carry state

    I also have my CCL.

However, if we're talking about purchasing from a dealer, you live in a Nazi state too, slick.
"No Dealer Sales to Persons Under the Age of 21" is a federal statute...

If your trying to get around the 21 age federal limit, have an of age adult in your family purchase it. Then they can gift it to you. This is the safest way, and the Government cant do a dang thing about it. An easier way around the 21 restriction for ammo, is to carry a handgun that has an equivalent rifle round. Then all you say is your looking for ... caliber if they ask, you say its for a rifle.

Oh that's why yall were talking about not being able to carry.. For some reason I always assume folks are above 21 on here

Also my mobile TW doesn't let me see people's full accounts so I don't know where anyone is from.

Truth. Provided that the spouse/family member in question isn't a convicted felon who's banned from owning a gun, obviously. In that case, the 'gifting' clause to the straw purchase law is moot.

Also, I realized this morning on my drive in that it's now January, which means that the Clif Bars in my GHB are now a year old and are probably rock-hard even when they're not frozen.
Looks like I'm going to the grocery store after work, haha!

I spent the night rotating my food storage.. Realized that one of my water jugs has a leak in it.. And purchased a 40mm ammo can for a truck box at the gun show. Tonight I will be packing and organizing it.

What do you use for jugs? Just the gallon jugs they sell at the store, or...?

5 gallon jugs you can get from Sams. I rotate them through.. Mainly using them for boiling when cooking and stuff. Plus I've got two Katadyn hand pumps if I need to pull from our creek

One day I'll have a setup to collect rain water from the gutters but that will come after our metal roof is put in and out gutter system replaced.

    Gotcha.
I keep a couple of those on hand as well for the sake of convenience, but I've also got a hand pump in the cellar that I can run during an extended outage.
