Are fireworks frowned upon out there? I never really knew whether the rangers cared or not.

Are fireworks legal at the ISDRA and if they aren't, how much is a ticket for setting them off?

No. Imperial County Ordinance 8.24.020 states no person, firm, corporation or other legally-recognized entity shall possess, offer for sale, sell, use or display, within the unincorporated territory of the county of Imperial, fireworks of any kind as defined by California Health and Safety Code Section 12500.

Imperial County Ordinance 8.24.040 states the fire chief, or his or her designee, and the sheriff, or his or her designee, shall have the authority to seize, take, remove or cause to be removed, at the sole expense of the owner, all stocks of fireworks possessed, offered for sale, sold, used or displayed in violation of this chapter. The fire chief, or his or her designee, and the sheriff, or his or her designee, may charge any person, or in the case of a minor, their parent(s) or legal guardian(s), whose fireworks are seized pursuant to this section, the following amounts, which are reasonable and sufficient to cover the cost of transporting, storing, handling and disposing of the seized fireworks:

Any person, firm, corporation or other legally-recognized entity violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction offense and punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) for a first violation. The second and any additional violations perpetrated by the same person shall constitute a misdemeanor offense and shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or six months in jail, or both. Notwithstanding the above, a first offense may be charged and prosecuted as a misdemeanor. (Ord. 1411 § 2 (part), 2006)

interesting.. my problem is that my tires rub the bottom of my fenders if they stuff too much or if im turning on bump. I plan to trim my fenders further before the trip..
i dont really want to lift the front any higher to save preload..
all i can do is trim huh? i thought the bumps might have helped

Fiberglass fenders first off would help, Also why are you running your coil overs so loose?

Have they not been adjusted with new shims for better rebound ect?

My old setup from the factory on my Fox front coil overs was horrible and had TC Yota fix them for me.

I used to full stuff on medium speed bumps and bottom out.. not anymore.

Hell I run little tiny energy suspension bump stops that are just cosmetic at this point.

Yes, you buy tickets to the raffle. Price is $5 each or 5 for $20. Raffle will be Saturday night after/during the SocalTacomas sponsored BBQ.

Shirts will cost $10 even for the event. 1st come 1st serve, we only had 50 made up. Our cost came up to 9 and some change, so thanks for the gas money for us driving to get them :):)

Communication for this event will be thru 2m (race) radios on 151.625 (weatherman) we are not planning on running relay to cb however if someone shows up running both cb is usually on ch 21

CAMP WILL BE AT THE BASE OF THE MOUNTAIN (same as last year) To find camp from wheeler rd. follow Wheeler all the way till you hit the 90 degree right hand turn at base of mountain, make the turn and we should be about a half mile down you'll see the big group of TACOMAS! Here are coordinates for all to have a general idea of where we will be, 32.93075,-115.808799 (shouldn't be hard to find a group of 60 tacomas)

Ya fenders of course are an option. Not one i want to go with, but am begining to contimplate.
Not really any shops in my area that know anything about offroad suspension. These people wouldnt even know what a resi is...
Id love to get them tuned, dont know how.

So-Cal is bro central for off road rigs my friend, Shit here in San Diego there are at least 10 shops that can and will re tune your entire trucks set up.

    Hit up Tyler (TC Yota)
    The Truck Shop
    Off Road Warehouse
    4 Wheel Parts
    Jason (Speed Freak)
I'm sure if you have a days time and some cash it can be no problem and you will absolutely love the way your truck will handle afterwards.. Night and Day.

Call The Truck Shop and ask for James, tell him Matt sent you. He would have fairly speedy turn around while you wait. Probably 2 to 4 hrs.
