    MMMM... recalls....

That would be sweet to have a small block in a mid size, but even being a big Chevrolet fan, I am having a hard time getting past all of GM's recalls. Full LT setup with a small block in one of these trucks would be sick though.

I'm just surprised the Escalade doesn't have push-button start. My rental Prado in Costa Rica had push-button start...

I think we are just talking recalls altogether. It's a qc nightmare!

My uncle just took his Buick Allure in for an ignition recall, I'm not sure which one. The fix was to put an extra ring on his key chain and a plastic stick on piece to the key to prevent the king ring from acting a lever pulling the key out of the ignition. He laughed and somewhat sarcastically mentioned how great GM's engineers must be.

I saw my first new Colorado yesterday. I was liking the pics I saw, but in person it looked pretty crappy. It didn't look bigger to me, maybe if there had been a Taco or old Colorado parked next to it I would have looked bigger. My impression of the front end was that it looked like a Ridgeline and an Arcadia had a love child, very bland.:puke:

Just in the past week I have started to see more Colorados around (2 yesterday), both DCSB's, and in Z71 trim, they look pretty good IMHO. I loved both generations of Tacomas I had, but Toyota really needs to step it up for 2016. 9 more days to see if it's a re-skined makeover or an all-new Tacoma :)

My wife's mom has a jeep liberty and its always in need of repair and has constant recalls. Airbags that go off for no reason and exploding gas tanks due to rear end collisions.

Their answer to an exploding gas tank was to install a tow package. So they didn't fix the issue, they just put a bandaid on it.

The good thing is the Jeep probably won't last muh longer. Its a piece of trash.

^Not sure what else you expected them to do with the fuel tank. The Jeep met all federal rear-end crash requirements, but NHTSA raised a stink anyway and effectively "shamed" Fiat into doing a recall due to the bad PR. But hey the consumers got a free tow hitch out of the deal.

This has been known for some time. Thailand is the world's #2 pickup truck market. Where do you think Toyota makes the Hilux?

The Thai plant was probably Isuzu's, though I expect quality to have been run into the ground after 12 years of GM management...

    ^The 4x2 model with 2.5L 4-cyl can be had with a 6-speed manual. Other engine/T-case combos are limited to a 6-speed auto.
