Lost in translation

 

My gf went today. I think blue mountain.

We're going to jay peak Sunday-Wednesday, then taos for the last week of the month.

This year sucks so bad so far. First year in forever that I haven't been out by now. Usually out before Christmas for sure.

I love this vid. Between street jibbing and using your truck as a ramp it's awesome.

I wonder how it was? Luckily I am flat broke so I can't got much this season anyway but I do agree it sucks dick. It reminds me of the one year I worked at shawnee as a lift op. and we literally had one trail open and some sections were only about 8 ft wide until mid January.

 

She said it's snowing but only about as much as it is here.. Pretty much just enough to make you wet lol.

That's funny, didn't know you worked as a lifty. I worked for a season at crested butte, co. We got over 400" of snow that year, but at the start we had to use hay bails to build up the loading and unloading ramps.

 

Damn that's a much better place to be a lifty Yeah I did it for like 3 years on weekends in addition to my full time job as a web dev to be able to ride for free. Holy hell that was a boring job but still was fun sometimes.

 

Yea even in Colorado it sucks. You stand there in the cold, usually in a shadow, and watch people have fun. Powder days are like watching your wife having sex with another man lol.

Truth but when your shift is over you can shred. Though you can't exactly call out sick and get away with it if you had morning shift.

 

I love how folks on TW Facebook always refer grill questions to b p fab as if that thief Matt came up with the raptor grill. lucky he's n Canada

I occasionally make mention of it there. I stay away from the TW FB page. It's like dealing with dozens of Hunter. I can handle one - not a bunch.

I agree one of me is enough... But in my defense I always mention you... It pisses me off just as much as it pisses you off that he is now the all mighty grill guy because hes popular on social media... Ive got a few friends with big accounts that call him out as well.

I went on there the other day when the website wasn't working on my phone. Holy shit I thought I just caught it on a bad day or something. Every fucking post was so fucking stupid. I was going to mention it in here but thought maybe it was just me getting annoyed for no reason...
