This is awesome, and I'm in SoCal as well! Hmm... maybe I can get this somehow before I leave for my deployment

Not sure to be honest.
It all falls on shipping really.
Once I get the dash i work on it that same day and I have it shipped back the following day

 

so for this mod now. will definitely have you do mine in a month or two. I suppose I can drive around for a week with no cluster. im gonna get a custom 12+ style faceplate for it too. ill have to ponder what color scheme. definitely a lot of blue tho!

 

Where did you get the face plate from?

All colors look awesome...even pink and purple
I swapped My gfs Corolla in that color and when I drive it's weird looking at it but looks better than orange/amber

 

I found this site (http://www.blackcatcustom.com/toyota_tacoma.htm) from searching TW over the weekend. its about as much as swapping an oem plate, but the status lights will be in the right spots and I can add the odd numbered mph numbers. I haven't ordered it yet tho.

I cant decide between red or white needles on a blue background

 

ok cool. their faceplates are alright, not bad imo.

is there anything else that youre going to keep in the truck thats white or red?

 

not really, all the other lights are still stock orange. replacing the radio too. just looking for a good contrast color with the blue background. if its all blue the needles might blend too well I think?

 

with the needles blue, it will look good...but yea will blend in some

i think if youre not going to change much on the inside you can do a blue with red needles.

if you wanna get crazy a blue with green needles or purple lol

 

well now that they are done updating the 2nd gen im gonna retrofit my interior with 12+ pieces and do some carbon fiber wrap on the trim. but as far as the rest of the led's go I don't currently plan to change them, cept for maybe the clock color to blue too. also given my forum avatar, I obviously kind of dig the blue/orange contrast

bought another $150 worth of leds...running out quick all of a sudden

 

Sent mine today. Goin to be awesome not to have the ugly red dash lights anymore.

 

hope to see them soon!! the orange/red isnt that bad lol

 

Where are you located specifically in SoCal?
Also is the turn around date still as said in your OP 1-3 days or is that just for shipping the cluster back? If not then what's the product turn around date?

I'm in Ontario. But you're local...ish
Turn around when shipped (not local) is like next day 85% of the time...depends on how busy I am with my actual job or if sometime comes up.

What are you looking to do?
Just the cluster takes me like an hour to do
