That's reduclious. My 14bolt was $60 and the hubs $70 from jy. thekernel got a price around $600, my goal is under $400 for the complete 99-04 axle. New bearings, 6x5.5 hubs, ball joints, gears and a arb, should be little over ~$2k complete

I'll be looking at the junk yards for a pair of D60s.
Told my wife I was thinking about bumping up to 39s I got the crazy look. Told her I could build the D60s and throw em under my truck and throw the D44/toy 8.4 in her jeep with the same wheels.

That's my only reason... 31.5" leaf sprung width already there. I'd gladly rock the new SD axles if I could. But, their spring width is like 36".

Wouldn't be as gay if it had a real front bumper and not that useless attempt at an exo that would fail immediately... Wonder why he's running a chevy axle, any more photos or info on it?

Interesting... I didn't look close enough I figured with the size of the tires it was no wonder it was so high off the ground... good catch.

I think it looks good. Question is how well does it wheel? Speaking of wheeling I got an some pretty good side hilling stuff while wheeling this last weekend and I felt super stable. still want rims with less back spacing though.

This isn't a solid front axle question, but I figured you guys would be able to point me in the right direction. After building the new bed I'm in need of a stronger rear suspension and am considering swapping over to Chevy 63's in the rear instead of paying a small fortune for a custom leaf pack. I outlined my thoughts on it in my build thread here. Any input would be welcome.

I can give you a full review after I get my truck running again. They sit pretty nice in mine right now. They flex really well cause of length but also hold weight well. Pretty easy to swap in.

You guys are lucky, down here all the rednecks bought up all the D60s for their mud trucks. If you want one, you're paying top dollar for em.

    I paid $1500 for my d60/14b.

allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
My 14 bolt cost $60 out of the local pick a part. Sd 60's are on average $600. Im picking up a sterling 10.25 with 4.88's and an arb for $700 in a few days.
