Knew some people a while back who loved their nano but said over time it became prone to jamming. I don't have any experience with them though.

Lc9 is same dimensions as the s&w shield if you want another option. Mine is my edc and I've had zero problems with it in 500+ rounds.

The one thing I love about the nano is that it doesn't have a slide stop release.

If you're military/veteran/leo, you can get the S&W Shield from QuanticoTactical.com for $299. Same with the Bodyguard.

I've considered the bodyguard too. I guess I need to do some reading. I like the trigger of the LC9s. But I don't know if all of the issues with the first version of the LC9 have been resolved

FWIW, I have the Bodyguard for my summer carry gun. I've probably put over 2000 rounds through it over 4 summers with a single malfunction (Failure to Feed on a bum round. I was shooting Blazers & the bullet had been seated too far back into the case and it jammed)

I liked the glock over the S&W just by feel. I just need to read up on the 3 micros and figure out which one sounds like the best option.

CT sales Crossbreed holsters for the g26/g27 on their site. I had one of the first LC9's to hit the market. It had no issues except the 20# and mile long trigger. I recently traded it for an LC9s that I've put 300 FMJ and 100 JHP through without issue. Also the new trigger is tits. I can shoot really well with it.

I was thinking of going to cabelas this weekend.

So no issues with the LC9s? I haven't read any recent reviews of owners. Every review I read is before they changed them to striker fire. I have a Troy Waite holster. IWB/OWB leather paddle with kydex. Bought it off eBay for $30. Works very well for my g27. I'll probably buy from the same guy for whatever I decide to buy this weekend.

Do some research ahead of time and see if you can find anybody offering a lower price than what Cabela's is offering. A lot of times they refuse to negotiate on price, but if you can show them that another retailer is advertising the same product at a lower price they'll match it in a heartbeat.

I'd never buy a used gun from Cabela's. They get beat to shit on the racks, hammers get left in tension for god knows how long, and they're ridiculously overpriced.
The new guns, when I buy them there, are generally well-priced and they'll match if I find a lower one. Just make sure you ask for one in a fresh box from out back, rather than the display gun when you buy.

I have $275 in cabelas gift cards so I'll have around $150 in it

I love buying used guns from cabelas. Most of them don't have a clue what half the guns are. And a lot of times they are marked wrong and priced accordingly. Sometimes you can get awesome guns for cheap because of they don't have a clue what they are

    Ugh.
The Cabela's in Scarborough has somebody who knows how to Google working for them, then. The guns are labeled correctly and they're priced steep. It's almost like they use the ridiculously priced used guns to push people to the new ones ('WHY would you spend $500 on this used Remington 700 when you can buy a new one for just $100 more?!')

And they never want to budge on price on the used ones, no matter how many examples or flaws you toss their way, because they know that some dumbass is eventually going to come along and pay $500 for a 70's Winchester '94 with dented stock and rusted finger prints on the barrel.

I spent too much money yesterday...
Ordered a lone wolf 40-9 threaded conversion barrel and 9mm recoil spring for my Glock 23, and a Taran Tactical Firepower +6 base plate.
Also ordered the new magpul SL handgaurd in FDE for my M&P15 to match the rest of its furniture.
Aaaand had to order a box of Hornady 90gr XTP ammo for my Ruger LCP, after discovering that the Hornady FTX that it's currently loaded with grossly under-penetrates.

Dry fire an LC9s and you'll buy it.It is surprisingly easy to shoot for a small gun IMO. No issues with mine.
