Kansas City Meet

Could have hosted the mod day at my place in Platte city, room for a truck in my 3 car and lots of room in the drive way, but got FAM in right now.

 

Ok, so i have been kinda slacking on this but here is the plan for the next meet.

Saturday Jan 17th 2015 meet at

PT's Coffee
310 Southwest Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64108

We can start showing up around 7am and then grab some coffee. Let's plan to head out around 9am. That way if a few of you wanna show up just before 9am and sleep in thats fine.

Scott has some roads for us to check out near Emporia so we plan on heading out there.

I hope that you all can make it out and have some fun with us!

I'm in Platte city so I probably won't be driving into kc just to drive back out again, but if we wanted to set up a rendezvous point around Emporia I could meet everyone there.

 

Yea that wouldnt make sense at all. We can figure something out.

 

What about those truck stops that way we all can top off on fuel?

Id love to find some good roads/trails around here... i used to live mainly in rolla, mo and it was so much easier to find fun gravel roads and off road trails.

 

It's all about exploring, And most of us like to do that! You should try to make it out there to the meet.

 

what are you getting done? I need to find one because a friend is building me a roof rack platform in Orlando for my topper and we are gonna ship it up in three pieces to save on shipping so i need to find a good shop to weld it all up for me.

 

I would like to join in but I have Pinewood Derby with my grandson that day. Ill have to take a rain check on this one but if I can make any future meetups In definitely down for it.

Cant make it. Wife got a new job so we work opposite weekends. And gotta watch my 1 yr old daughter. But i live in Merriam/Shawnee area so if ya see a Black TX ( there are too many TX editions around) give me a wave.

On a side note, prayers for the owner of She's a Pistol LLC store. Her and her husband were robbed by 4 kids and her husband was shit and killed during the robbery. The store is right down the street from me and i drive by it every day. I didnt personally know either of them. But it still hits too close to home for the Shawnee area.

 

Sometimes, I'm ashamed of being from this world. You spend your whole life building your dream and in an instant when 4 dumbasses decide they want what you have it all come crashing down. I hope they die from their gunshot wounds so we don't end up paying for their food and shelter the rest of their miserable lives.

Good price on a TRD exhaust in our area dudes. Maybe he would take $200. And on another side note, my buddy is a salesman at Olathe Toyota. Dont but a Toyota until at least you check prices with him. He does internet sales so its a nice hook up. He does not get discount prices on parts though... Ive already tried.

 

Probably my only reason ive left my TX stickers on my truck. Havent seen any Black TX Trd trucks around here.
