So I think I've killed my rack, haven't pulled the boot out but oil is spewing out of it... hope it doesn't ruin the heim now that I think about it. Safe to say just order a new one? Autozone has a 20% coupon online right now so thinking on just getting one now... any takes?

Safe to say the rack is done. Autozone should have a lifetime warranty on their racks.. Should pay for itself a few times over. My current rack is showing signs of
Being on its way out. Next rack will be an auto zone with a rack slider to
    Hopefully prolong life.

Finally called mcneil today about fenders, and it turns out they just finished the mold for 2nd gen standard length 4 in flare flat-top bedsides. I was so worried about ordering from glassworks, happy to not need to now.

I ended up ordering the 3x3 fenders and flat-top 6ft-bed bedsides. They say 2 weeks before shipping. Wish me luck!

nice....I may try to roll on the OEM fenders for a bit longer....even though I curved them in on a recent trip. Just finished cutting more off for now..

Just cut yours Alex as you need it. For the rack and weight you have the fiberglass will never be able to hold it without cracking and fracturing.

I did similar damage last week on an outing, but not that bad.
