Let my little brother drive in the dunes this weekend.. got a little ahead of himself and drove into a ditch way to fast (mini witches eye)

im using this as an excuse to convert to an 04 front end and likely a nice plate steel bumper

Installed some OME 881's with 5100's on all corners on my 04 prerunner a few days ago. Much easier with the pre assembled shocks from wheelers offroad. Removed the 8 year old toytec spacer lift with oem shocks (god they suck). Only problem is that the rear of the truck is over an inch and a half higher than the front with my 8 year old Toytec AAL. Is it okay to just run the 5100's in the rear without the AAL?

rake is better than bro lean.. but yes you can run the 5100s in the back with stock leafs, AAL dont usually change your range of travel..

btw your shit looks too clean, you needa get it dirty..

Actually 5100s are too long for stock leafs. You can get away with it. Just no offroading.

Don't you have to get the 5125. That's what I have with stock leafs.

If its the way you like your truck, then roll with it. Thats is the "glory" of modding your truck. Yea in the long run it may be a little more wear on parts but whatever. Every mod is going to effect another part sometime down the line. In 2 years you may burn up the wheel bearings; Just buy new wheel bearings! lol. People that lift 3'' burn through BJ, tie rods, CV axles, bushings and plenty of other stuff. Just enjoy your truck man

YOU shouldnt change your truck a bit lol. I love it!

Pressure washer is a great thing :D . I just ordered 1" toytec shackles to replace the old AAL. Lowering the truck is kind of nice since I have a kid now. I remember I was thinking about an 6" lift 8 years ago when I installed the toytec 3" lift. Agreed on the bro lean, there is a lot of that out here in Santa Clarita. Just received my new SPC control arms. Hopefully the install goes smoothly and I can beat the old 0.4 caster :p

If he's converting to an 01-04 front end it's a new bumper, grille, hood, fender flares, corner lights, headlights, and bumper filler.

Here's my last 4 days. Been needing a new winch bumper but wasn't going to shell out $500. Had to build it big to fit my 12000 lb winch haha, but I like the mad max look.

Maybe Camelback, but OEM are usually pretty damn expensive. You might want to check out CVJ. IIRC they are much cheaper than that and can be had with the high angle boots.
