I have been going back and forth whether or not to sell my 1st gen and buy a 2nd gen. Just wanted to know if anybody had some input. Has someone done this and loved the 2nd gen. Regrets? What would u do?

I got a good deal couldn't pass. I do miss 1st gen. Trying to get it back from bro.
It comes down to cost of new versus age of yours and mileage. If you're doing good on maintenance and can't put a lot down on new then keep it. Or get a used 2nd gen.

I have a second gen, but I think the 1st gen are nicer. If I could have found one at a decent price without 180000 miles I'd have bought it.

Try and keep it. You may not get much for it and it'll just be shipped to Mexico.

Find a used one at carmax? I've done work at many of their stores. They really go over the vehicles they keep.

That last part tells me you're not ready to move to a 2nd gen. If there isn't anything seriously wrong with it, why make the move now? Save your money, or maybe save some and use some to improve/mod/change something on the 1st gen. You'd still have your truck, which it sounds like you still really like, but a few changes will curb some of the back and forth of wanting a 2nd gen. :notsure: Good luck.

what do you use it for? i find the 2nd gens are more refined, and if you do a lot of long drives it may be more comfortable. then again, i've never taken a 1st gen on a long trip before, so i could be wrong

Its my every day vehicle. I use it for hunting, off roading, and travels. I think i may look into getting a subaru for commuting and keep my truck for everthing else
