just ordered my new tires!!!

Finally got the extra funds to go ahead and order my new tires. I got some 285/75/16 duratracs on the way and they should be here by the end of the day tomorrow. I cant wait to see how they look on my reg cab! Im just hoping I dont have a issue with them rubbing my upper control arms. I dont think this is going to be a issue though since i put icon upper control arms on it when i lifted it but i guess we will see anybody have any experience with this. i am running stock wheels.

hmmmm im hoping im gone be ok for a couple months till i get more cash for wheels. i really hate to have to shell out $200 for wheel spacers when thats not the route i really wanna go

 

Did you order the spacers yet?

I would leave the stock wheels and tires on until you can get the new wheels. Save the $$ on spacers. Or you can always sell them on here to someone if you ordered them already.

 

i havent ordered them yet. i was just going to wait and get the tire shop to just install one front tire and make sure they would clear before they did them all. if they will then im gone go ahead with it. if not i may just wait till i get the money for new rims to install them. i still got a little life in my tires now just trying to fill the fenders a little more since i lifted it.

 

You're going to rub on the cab pinch weld and possibly most likely the frame as well.

Its a common thing for those spots to rub on 33's even with lifts

 

i plan to run wheels with a good offset so that should fix some of that frame issue. i can fix that pinch weld issue haha no problem my biggest worry though is if itll be driveable till i can get some wheels with a little more offset. i have a 3 inch lift you think ill have to beat that pinch weld in very much from your experience?

 

Yep. I have to do mine still. Waiting for warmer weather (currently -25 to -35 with windchill)

 

its about to get cool here but not that cool! i feel for ya haha. they are supposed to be here tomorrow but depending on what time is gone determine when they will be on. if they get here to late tomorrow i may not be able to try till sunday if the shop is open. i will post pictures though when i get them on!
