    A small handful of select mods.
    He has separate speaker. Could be a loose connection but I do believe he is still struggling with ground connection at the antenna too.

    Yeah Bob I have a seperate speaker.

    I've never had issues with my cb before. I wasn't using my usual antenna; don't know if that had anything to do with it. I need to do some trouble shooting

    Have aleveling spacer for a 2nd gen taco was for the taco lean... Never put it on my 2nd gen free if someone wants it. Also have a build a gate for free is someone has a wood fence and wants a gate.

    Noah you should try and see if your getting a good ground or not. I have mine in the same spot and I had to add a couple of ground wires to the hood and inside fender to ground better (thanks to Brian :) ). Or even check to see if you screw or bolt holding the ground came loose.
