    How do your eibach springs ride Dakota? I was looking at the new bilstein coil overs but they have eibachs and I've heard they are pretty stiff..

    Tall skinny are the best!

    Stiff as hell!!! Their only 620 lb too, hopefully the bumper/winch will help. They don't ride too bad on the road, it's still an IFS truck haha. But they sure don't like to stuff!! Or droop!! Or... Do anything off road besides lift my rear tire. :mad: gots to remember I do have some preload though and 1/2 top plate spacers.

    I prefer wider tires but thats me..

    Yeah then im not going with the new bilsteins haha OME 885's for me and hopefully stock UCA's, unless you think I should get LR UCA's with 2.5 inches of lift?

    I wouldn't. I just don't think my current setup is a very good way of accomplishing lift. You're taking a shock that is essentially the same length as factory, and preloading it on short stiff coilovers. Long and squishy is what I want.

    Are you talking about the 6112 series? I'm pretty sure the springs will be tuned with the shocks so I doubt it will feel like eibachs and 5100's.

    I originally wanted Icons since your fox ones wouldn't give me enough lift to run 285's safely, but I can't shell out that much on this truck. OME will be fine for me right now.

    The fox and icons can give you the same lift. It might say 0-2 but many people on here have got more out of them.

    There are 2 different coil overs from fox. The ones that boogyman has which are 0-2 inches, but they also make a 2.5 coil over that is 0-3 inches.

    And yeah I was talking about the 6112 series. It all depends on the spring rate of eibachs that they will use. I have a feeling it'll be the same spring rate as what they typically sell.

    I know for a fact I can get 3in and have more travel than ome. I need one more inch to be a solid 3 and Idk the exact amount but I have loads more than ome with the 886s

    How do you crank out 3 inches if they advertise 0-2? I know the 887's get you just over 3 inches of lift. Damn it now you have me looking at fox's again.. I hate being so indecisive haha

    mjp2 didn't have good luck with fox's factory paint and coatings lol. I don't know how well they would hold up for me

    So is mine. My bilsteins hold up well. I may look at Sway a Way or billie coilovers

    I may consider only for the fact of being able to have full front 3" lift to level out with the rear
